For two decades this modern, British American Tobacco owned plant has been manufacturing Dry Ice Expanded Tobacco (DIET) to help customers all over the world to meet the ever increasing demand by consumers for lower delivery cigarettes.

During this time we have sought consistently to improve the quality of the processes, services and products we provide.  We offer effective, innovative solutions at every level - from delivery and storage, through expansion and moisturising, to packaging and shipping.  This customer focused approach has given UK DIET the leading edge in the global DIET market.

Corby DIET plant was the first in the world to achieve ISO 9002 certification for quality management throughout its entire operations, and in August 2002 UK DIET was one of the first plants of its kind to make the transition to the new ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management System accredited through Lloyds Quality Registrars.

 

The factory at Corby, built on a 70,000 square metre site, began operating in September 1983 serving the British American Tobacco cigarette manufacturing facilities in Southampton and Liverpool, England.

 

Today the business provides DIET services to more than 25 customers around the world.  Our 60 plus team operates a 24/7 operation.
